The survey for preschool-aged children with developmental delays in childcare settings is a way for childcare providers to share their experiences and knowledge about developmental delays in their childcare settings. The survey is part of an internship project with the Community Action Coalition. The project is looking into the trend of developmental delays in preschool-aged children in the central Kenai Peninsula area. Part of this project will also look at what the community knows about these delays and where the community would like to go next in offering support to these children, their families, childcare providers, preschools, and other providers involved in their lives. The first part of this project will be over at the end of August, 2007. Information from this project will be offered back to the community and providers at that time.
